Character: Virginia “Pepper” Potts
Series: Marvel Cinematic Universe
Character Age: 37
Job: Official Stark Handler

Canon: After being abducted in Afghanistan, Tony Stark develops the preliminary version of the Iron Man suit to aid in his escape. Thus, a legacy is born; so cue the rock music, fireworks and a line of press because things just got more exciting. Problem is, Tony isn’t your typical superhero. His narcissistic personality doesn’t allow him to play well with others and causes him to reveal his secret identity early in the game. Though the resulting limelight causes him to flourish, it also causes trouble for Stark Industries and those close to him. In the midst of the chaos Tony stirs up, keeping him in line and sane is Pepper Potts—his assistant-cum-CEO, who keeps everything running.

Pepper takes crap from no one. Not even her own boss. In the face of potential danger, she isn’t the type to back down, especially if others are at risk. While she is no god or super soldier, she’s no pushover, either. She is intelligent and determined. She is strong-willed, thorough and extremely competent. Though her patience and understanding have been tried on multiple occasions, she has proven to be a faithful, trustworthy friend and ally.

Sample Entry:

Tell us about yourself in a few words.

My name is Virginia Potts, but you can call me Pepper. I’m currently the CEO for Stark Industries, which consumes most of my time. My apologies that it took a bit to find a time slot that would allow me to fly out here.

Do you have a five year plan in mind?

I did have a five year plan in mind, but then I started working for the infamous Tony Stark. So, it’s hard to have any definitive plans. For now, I’m just trying to keep Stark Industries up and running as smoothly as possible.

What is your job here at CFUD? What do you think that means?

I’m here to do what? Okay, fine. I’ll humor the title until we can discuss the terms of our contract. I’m assuming it means that Tony has taken a job without my knowledge and is currently being quite unreasonable. There will probably be an excuse attached. What I’m hoping is that I’ll be coming here to take care of more important business matters. Perhaps this camp is looking for some kind of sponsorship or promotions? We’ll have to see what they have in mind and consider the options.

Why are you joining our happy community?

Joining your community? This is only temporary until I get back to my normal job. Think of it as a quick business trip. If I had known what my official job title was supposed to be here, I might have reconsidered my position. It seems that you have misunderstood my intentions for this visit to your camp. I hope we can resolve this issue as fast as possible and in a civil manner.

Do you consider yourself squeamish? Please provide an example.

Somewhat. Though, after having my hand in Tony’s— You know what? How about we don't talk about this. It was disgusting and I'd like to never experience it again. Let's leave it at that.

Would you be able to dispose of the flesh of the undead? How?

Excuse me? What kind of questionnaire is this? I know a lot of strange things have been going on, but you cannot tell me there are undead starting to show up. It was hard enough believing aliens were invading New York, but now you’re claiming there are zombies in the mix.

Do you find these questions increasingly unnerving? Why/Why not?

Do you ask everyone who comes here these questions? It’s bad enough to ask them of adults, but there are children here. I want to speak to whoever is in charge. I’ve got a lot more work ahead of me than I initially planned.
